§ 18-3-7. Controlled Meter Spaces.

(a)

Parking Meter Spaces. The space adjacent to a parking meter included within painted lines shall constitute the area of space within which a vehicle shall be parked and each vehicle shall be parked entirely within such space.

(b)

Parking Space in Garage of Machine-Controlled Parking Lot. The space included within painted lines shall constitute the area of space within which a vehicle shall be parked and each vehicle shall be parked entirely within such space.

(c)

Posting of Vehicles . Vehicles shall be parked upon the various streets in the metered zone in the positions prescribed in the traffic regulations, and in parking lots the position of parked vehicles shall be head-in in spaces designated by lines painted on the parking lot pavement. Vehicles may be backed into spaces within municipal parking garages.
