Article 6-1. RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PARKS |
§ 6-1-3. Conduct Prohibited in Recreational Facilities.
It shall be a violation of this Article for a person in any recreational facility to:
(a)
Engage in any conduct that violates federal law, state law, or City ordinance, or the rules and regulations issued by the Recreation Director.
(b)
Enter a comfort station or toilets set apart for the use of the opposite sex; or loiter in any comfort station or toilet at any time, or dress or undress except in dressing rooms provided for such purposes.
(c)
Use threatening, abusive, insulting, profane, or obscene language or words.
(d)
Solicit money, subscriptions, or contributions for any purpose unless authorized by permit issued by the Recreation Director.
(e)
Enter a recreational facility in an intoxicated condition, and unless otherwise licensed under Chapter 15, have in his or her possession or drink or use any alcoholic beverages.
(f)
Have in his or her possession, bring into or use in any recreational facility whether carried, concealed, or carried open, any slingshots, firecrackers, fireworks, or other missile propelling instruments or explosives or arrows (except as allowed in a designated archery area), or other dangerous weapons, which have such properties as to cause annoyance or injury to any person or property.
(g)
Throw, cast, lay, deposit, or propel any missile except in performance of an authorized recreational activity.
(h)
Interfere with, encumber, obstruct, or render dangerous any recreational facility or part thereof.
(i)
Emit, eject, or cause to be deposited excreta of the human body, except in proper receptacles designated for such purposes.
(j)
Gain improper admission to, have use of, or attempt admission to any recreation facility, for which a charge is designated for such purpose.
(k)
Disobey a proper order of a police officer or other City employee.
(l)
Disobey, disregard, or fail to comply with any rule, regulation, warning, prohibition, or direction, posted or displayed by sign, notice, bulletin, card, poster, or when notified or informed as to its existence by police officer, or other City employee.
