§ 5-5-5. Procedure for Purchases of Cemetery Lots and Columbarium Niches.

All applications for the purchase of cemetery lots and columbarium niches shall be made to the Grounds Division Superintendent, or the superintendent's designee, who shall give to the person applying an order to the City Clerk for a deed, stating the number of the lot or the niche and its price. The City Clerk, upon the receipt of the order and satisfactory evidence that the price has been paid, shall sign a deed to such cemetery lot or niche, and cause it be delivered to the person so applying.
