  • The position classification plan shall be used as follows:

    (a)

    For setting and maintaining equitable compensation rates;

    (b)

    As a basis for action regarding hiring and recruiting;

    (c)

    As a basis for action in transfers and promotions;

    (d)

    As a guide in all personnel matters requiring an accurate knowledge of various positions in the municipal organization.
