§ 9-6-21. Preliminary Treatment Facility Maintenance Required.

All industrial wastewater shall be pretreated in accordance with federal and state regulations and this Article to the extent required by applicable National Categorical Pretreatment Standards, state pretreatment standards, or standards established by the Director, whichever is more stringent. Where pretreatment of flow-equalizing facilities are provided or required for any waters or wastes, they shall be maintained continuously in satisfactory and effective operation by the owner(s), at the owner's expense.
