Article 13-8. TATTOO PARLORS AND ARTISTS |
§ 13-8-2. Definitions.
Tattoo/tattooed/tattooing shall mean any method of placing designs, letters, scrolls, figures, symbols or any other marks upon or under the skin with ink or any other substance resulting in the permanent coloration of the skin by the aid of needles or any other instruments designed to touch or puncture the skin.
Tattoo establishment shall mean any room or space or location where the art of tattooing is practiced or where the business of the tattooing is conducted.
Tattoo operator shall mean any person who controls, operates, conducts or manages any tattoo establishment whether actually performing the work of tattooing or not.
Tattoo artist shall mean any person who actually performs the work of tattooing.
