Article 35-2. COMPENSATION PLAN |
§ 35-2-6. Status of Present Employees.
(a)
Where the new classification of a person presently employed by the City of Concord is allocated to a Labor Grade with a higher maximum rate than the existing one, the employee's rate shall be set at the increment in the new range which constitutes the next higher step in rate from the employee's present rate of pay.
(b)
Where the new classification of a person presently employed by the City is allocated in a labor grade with a maximum rate lower than the employee's existing rate, the employee's rate shall remain unchanged until the rate for the labor grade exceeds their existing rate.
