§ 35-2-1. Content.

(a)

The Compensation Plan consists of the following schedules, which shall be kept in the office of the Human Resources Department:

(1)

Schedule A. Wage rates for hourly employees who have a forty-hour workweek.

(2)

Schedule B. Wage rates for hourly employees who have a thirty-seven and one-half-hour workweek.

(3)

Schedule S. Yearly salary ranges for salaried employees.

(4)

Schedule D. Class specification index.

(b)

Schedules A, B, and S shall consist of a number of Labor Grades with a corresponding range of rates for each grade. Wage ranges are updated based on an annual vote of the city council as a part of acceptance of the budget.

(c)

Schedule D shall consist of a Class Specification Index, which shall indicate for each class the title and labor grade for each class. [The following ordinances have amended Schedule D: Ord.
