§ 34-3-1. Content.

The Classification Plan shall comprise a schematic list of positions grouped into classes which are similar in the basic character of their duties and responsibilities so that the same pay scale, title, and minimum qualification requirements can be applied and the positions can fairly and equitably be treated under like conditions for other personnel purposes. Each classification shall be characterized by:

(a)

Class title;

(b)

Supervision received;

(c)

Supervision exercised;

(d)

Examples of work performed in the position;

(e)

Knowledges, skills and abilities required;

(f)

Minimum qualifications required;

(g)

Any other information deemed necessary or desirable by the City Manager.
