§ 30-2-16. Recreation Department.

  • (a)

    The Recreation Department shall consist of the Recreation Director and such other personnel as may be recommended by the City Manager and approved by the City Council.

    (b)

    The Recreation Department shall perform the following functions:

    (1)

    Develop a general recreation program for the City.

    (2)

    Operate the recreational activities on all City parks, playgrounds, community centers, swimming pools, tennis courts, and all other recreation facilities.

    (3)

    Schedule all indoor and outdoor City recreation facilities for school and community use.

    (4)

    Prepare and maintain all records pertaining to the Recreation Department.

    (5)

    Perform all other related functions as required.
