§ 26-18-2. Administration and Enforcement.

The administration and enforcement of this Article shall be the duty of the Code Official who shall be the City Manager or the City Manager's designee. The Code Official is hereby authorized to take such action as may be reasonably necessary to enforce the provisions and purposes of this Article and to appoint and authorize such assistants and agents as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Article. The terms "Code Official" and "Authority Having Jurisdiction" shall have the same meaning and shall be used interchangeably.
