§ 18-1-8. Parking Time Limited in Designated Places.

(a)

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time stated on such signs at any time between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, legal holidays excluded, in any unmetered municipal parking lot or upon any of the streets described in Schedule III, attached to and made part of these regulations.

(b)

The application of time restrictions as described in these regulations shall mean that no driver of a vehicle shall be permitted to park in any one block on any one of the streets described in Schedule III for more than the time allowed in that block on that street, in any one day, whether such time is used in a single period of parking or accumulated in two (2) or more periods.

(c)

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, the limitation of hours in subsection (a) may be extended in designated places to apply from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., legal holidays excluded.
