Article 13-7. REGULATING CHARITABLE SOLICITATIONS |
§ 13-7-2. Applications.
Applications for charitable solicitation permits shall be made in duplicate to the City Manager upon forms prescribed by him and shall include the following information:
(a)
The name and address of the individual or organization applying for the permit;
(b)
If the applicant is not an individual, the name and address of the individual having general charge of the proposed solicitation;
(c)
The purpose for which the solicitation is to be made, the amount expected to be raised, and the use or disposition of the funds to be raised;
(d)
The time when the solicitation will be made and its proposed duration;
(e)
The estimated cost of the solicitation, including any wages, fees, commissions, expenses or emoluments to be paid in connection with the solicitation;
(f)
If the solicitation is to be conducted as a raffle under RSA 287-A, the nature of the applicant organization (whether religious, educational, charitable, civic, veterans or fraternal), how long it has been in existence, and whether it is organized under New Hampshire law.
An application shall be signed and certified as true and correct by the individual executing it and shall include that individual's home address.
